Role Overview

As a Senior Doctor, you will serve as a leader and subject matter expert within your specialty. You will play a vital role in diagnosing complex conditions, mentoring junior staff, participating in strategic initiatives, and ensuring adherence to the highest medical standards.

You will collaborate across departments and contribute to patient outcomes, teaching, research, and the continuous development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Practice

Deliver expert-level clinical care and consultation in your area of specialization.

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat complex or chronic medical conditions.

Supervise and support junior doctors, residents, nurses, and allied health staff.

Develop patient management plans and ensure proper documentation of medical records.

Perform or supervise surgical or procedural interventions as per your specialization.

Leadership & Mentorship

Act as a senior clinical advisor to colleagues and management.

Mentor and guide junior medical staff and postgraduate trainees.

Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management processes.

Assist in strategic decision-making for departmental growth and efficiency.

Education & Research

Contribute to academic activities including seminars, CME programs, and clinical teaching.

Participate in or lead clinical research, audits, and evidence-based medicine initiatives.

Encourage and foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, pharmacy, diagnostic, and rehabilitation.

Maintain strong communication with patients, families, and caregivers regarding care plans.

Participate in patient case discussions, mortality reviews, and clinical rounds.

Required Qualifications

Medical Degree (MBBS/MD/MS/DNB/DO or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

Board Certification or Specialist Registration in [Your Specialty].
